SIS “CIHT” SAD Quality Policy in the Field of Medical Care
General Intentions
Continuous improvement of the quality of medical care to meet patients’ needs is considered the foundation and the main direction of activity of our institution.
We also take into account the interests of all parties concerned with the quality of medical care — the institution’s employees and management, higher health authorities, local self-government bodies, as well as our partners — other healthcare institutions, public organizations, insurance companies, and suppliers of resources.
Quality in all areas of SIS “CIHT” SAD activity is defined as the primary responsibility of every employee.
Main Directions of the Policy
Policy towards Patients
We focus on meeting the current and future needs of our patients for high-quality medical care and services, while striving to exceed their expectations.
Policy towards Personnel
Qualified personnel are the key to maintaining a modern level of medical care quality and achieving high performance results.
Therefore, we ensure continuous postgraduate education for our specialists, create conditions that motivate them to work effectively, and foster a sense of personal responsibility for the results.
We encourage professional development, the implementation of employee initiatives aimed at maintaining and improving quality, as well as staff participation in the management of medical care quality.
Policy towards Partners and the State
We build our relationships with partners based on mutually beneficial, long-term, and transparent cooperation, shared understanding of goals in the field of medical care quality, trust, and effective communication.
We implement the quality policy declared at the national, sectoral, and regional levels through strict compliance with the laws of Ukraine and other regulatory legal acts.
Main Directions of Policy Implementation
The successful implementation of the SIS “CIHT” SAD quality policy is ensured through the establishment of a quality management system based on European approaches to healthcare quality systems and the requirements of national standards harmonized with international standards — DSTU ISO 9001:2009, as well as accumulated domestic and institutional experience.
The effectiveness of this system depends on its continuous improvement and development.
A proven and effective tool for the continuous improvement of medical care quality within the quality management system is the introduction, adherence to, regular review, and updating of medical technologies based on the unified ideology of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment — evidence-based medicine.
The foundation for ensuring the quality of medical care is the timely provision of necessary resources and their efficient use.
The management of SIS “CIHT” SAD is delegated maximum authority to organize activities aimed at the continuous improvement of medical care quality, efficient use of resources, effective system management, implementation of innovations, and creation of conditions for broad staff involvement in quality management.
