International Cooperation

The Center’s international activities are multifaceted and aimed at establishing and developing international relations and collaboration in scientific, practical, and educational fields. This includes building partnerships with foreign citizens, healthcare institutions, scientific organizations, educational establishments, international organizations, and foundations.

Objectives of International Activity:

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of innovative medical technologies aligned with international standards.
  • Strengthen the Center’s position in the global and national healthcare services market.
  • Ensure access to international knowledge and best practices in scientific, practical, and educational work.
  • Establish effective relationships with global, regional, and national organizations in medical science and healthcare.
  • Promote scientific achievements and best practices internationally.

Highlights by Research Departments

 

The Scientific Department of Internal Medicine is headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Anatolii Mykolayovych Kravchenko, Honoured Doctor of Ukraine, a renowned cardiologist and healthcare organizer. He is the author of over 270 scientific works, including 4 monographs, and holds 7 patents for inventions and utility models.

The department employs 11 scientific staff, including 3 Doctors of Medical Sciences (D.Sc.) and 6 Candidates of Medical Sciences (Ph.D.).

In accordance with the Concept of Scientific and Innovative Activity for the period from 2025 to 2029, approved by the State Administration of Affairs, the Scientific Department of Internal Medicine is performing the research project: “Improving the Strategy of Personalized Treatment and Rehabilitation for Patients with Cardiovascular Diseases and Nervous System Disorders”, the subject of which was approved by the Order of the Head of the State Administration of Affairs.

Department of Minimally Invasive Surgery: Engaged in the 6th European Framework Program “Integrating and Strengthening the European Research Area” (INCOMAT) and the project “Creating International Cooperation Teams of Excellence in the Field of Emerging Biomaterial Surface Research” (Assoc. Prof. O.M. Lazarenko). Staff are members of European associations in vascular surgery, Ilizarov surgery, urology, and endocrine surgery.

Department of Medical Care Organization: Participated in international medical congresses in Milan, Italy, and Amman, Jordan. Staff co-organized several international scientific forums in Ukraine and prepare electronic journals *Healthcare Quality Management* and *Health Management*, with editorial boards including leading experts from Ukraine, Poland, and Moldova.

Department of Educational and Information Technologies: Participates in organizing scientific-practical conferences with domestic and international specialists, including the conference *Modern Aspects of Personalized Medicine Development: Current Challenges and Future Outlook* (Nov 1–2, 2023), and the international conference

  •  Organizational and Clinical Aspects of Patient-Oriented Treatment and Rehabilitation in Modern Conditions* (May 29–30, 2024). Conferences featured experts from Ukraine, USA, Canada, Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
  • Collaboration with Aluna Publishing House, Poland: Staff assist in publishing conference materials in *Wiadomości Lekarskie Medical Advances* (indexed in PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus, EBSCO). Four issues containing conference papers have been published, with plans for future publications in additional journals such as *Emergency Medical Service. Ratownictwo Medyczne*, *Acta Balneologica*, and *Polski Merkuriusz Lekarski*.
