Center for Continuing Professional Development “Institute of Postgraduate Education” is headed by Svitlana Mykolaivna Burenok.
The Center holds licenses for educational activities issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine: AE No. 280529 and AE No. 636051.
The Center has been operating since 2008. As of the end of 2022, 1,003 physicians and nursing specialists have completed training at the Center
Advantages of training at the Continuing Professional Development Center:
- The educational process in the Center’s departments is provided by 12 Doctors of Medical Sciences and 23 Candidates of Medical Sciences.
- Modern simulators, mannequins, phantoms, and other visual materials are used.
- Computer programs are employed for learning, training, and assessment purposes. The Center has its own computer classroom.
- Unique in Ukraine internship cycles are conducted for surgeons, urologists, gynecologists, and vascular surgeons to master high-tech minimally invasive surgical procedures for diseases of the digestive organs, blood vessels, kidneys, prostate, uterus, and others.
- The methodological support of the educational process is carried out in accordance with the current regulatory documents of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
- Training plans and programs for thematic improvement cycles, professional schools, and simulation trainings for physicians are reviewed by the Scientific and Methodological Council of SIS “CIHT” SAD and approved by the Deputy Director for Clinical Work.
- Training plans and programs for physician internship cycles are reviewed by the Scientific and Methodological Council of SIS “CIHT” SAD, agreed upon with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and approved by the Director of SIS “CIHT” SAD.

The instructors of the Training Center have undergone specialized training programs in Europe and Ukraine. Three instructors (out of twelve in Ukraine) received instructor diplomas from the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and are certified to teach Advanced Life Support (ALS) courses across Europe.
The Center has been operating since 2006 and provides educational activities based on the License of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine AG No. 582704.
- Проводиться післядипломна підготовка з надання невідкладної медичної допомоги в екстремальних ситуаціях
(ліцензований обсяг прийому на навчання 1000 осіб в рік). - Навчаються лікарі, молодші спеціалісти з медичною освітою та особи без медичної освіти на 3-денних та 2-денних циклах за погодженими з МОЗ України навчальними планами і програмами.
- Основна форма навчання – короткотривалі інтенсивні цикли-тренінги підготовки з надання невідкладної медичної допомоги (18 годин для медичних працівників і 12 та 18 год для осіб, що не мають медичної освіти).
- Крім обов’язкового відпрацювання всіх практичних навичок на сучасних реалістичних манекенах, проводяться навчання-симуляції за сценаріями, що максимально наближені до життя.
- Навчальні плани і програми циклів навчання схвалені Науково-методичною радою ДНУ «ЦІТОЗ» ДУС, погоджені МОЗ України і затверджені директором ДНУ «ЦІТОЗ» ДУС. На всі передбачені тематичним планом лекції та практичні заняття є методичні розробки для викладачів.
Facilities and Equipment:
The Training Center is equipped with the latest AMBU International simulators, enabling participants to master practical skills in:
- Adult and pediatric resuscitation
- Airway management
- Defibrillation
- Transport immobilization
- Hemorrhage control
- Foreign body airway obstruction
- Poisoning, burns, trauma, acute illnesses
- Childbirth in out-of-hospital settings
Achievements and Activities:
Instructors actively participate in organizing, conducting, and judging annual international emergency medical team championships, including:
- “Halytski Medical Rally” (2008–2009, Lviv)
- “International Emergency Medical Competition” (2010, Ternopil)
- III Podilsk International Competition of Ambulance Teams (2011, Kamianets-Podilskyi)
- IV National Open Championship of Ambulance Teams (2012, Rivne)
- Ukrainian Emergency Medical Team Championship (2013, Kyiv)
В рамках міжнародної співпраці між Україною та Польщею, координують формування груп із лікарів зі всієї України для навчання на перших міжнародних україномовних курсах ALS (Advanced Life Support) у місті Кракові (Польща) за сприяння Європейської та Польської Ради Реанімації.
У квітні 2010 року та у липні 2013 року комісії Кабінету Міністрів України та МОЗ України, які знайомилися із досвідом роботи ДНУ “ЦІТОЗ” ДУС, рекомендували використовувати досвід підготовки з невідкладної медичної допомоги в екстремальних ситуаціях Навчально-тренувального центру ДНУ «ЦІТОЗ» ДУС як зразок для впровадження у інших закладах охорони здоров’я України.
- Бажаючі пройти курс з теми «Невідкладна медична допомога в екстремальних ситуаціях» у Навчально-тренувальному центрі мають подати письмову заяву (можна електронною поштою) за 1 міс. до запланованого навчання. В заяві слід вказати повністю прізвище, ім’я, по-батькові абітурієнта, його контактний номер телефону та електронну адресу. Розклад занять для лікарів та МСМО на 2023 р. – див. нижче (таблиця).
- За 7 днів до запланованого навчання абітурієнт отримує на електронну пошту проект договору, в який він вносить всю необхідну інформацію у 2-денний термін, та відсилає його на електронну адресу відправника
- У 1-й день навчання абітурієнт обов’язково приносить з собою роздрукований в 2-х екземплярах і підписаний стороною замовника договір
Окрім договору, для зарахування на курс потрібні ксерокопії наступних документів:
- 1, 2 сторінка паспорта, і сторінка з реєстрацією місця проживання
- Ідентифікаційний код
- Диплом про медичну освіту (для лікарів чи МСМО)
- Якщо прізвища в паспорті і дипломі різні – документ, що підтверджує зміну прізвища (напр., свідоцтво про шлюб)
