Scientific Department of Minimally Invasive Surgery
The Department of Minimally Invasive Surgery is a multidisciplinary unit that combines fundamental and applied research in modern surgery, endoscopy, vascular and neurosurgery, anesthesiology, reproductive medicine, and orthopedics. The department’s mission is to develop new high-tech treatment methods, improve surgical approaches, and implement personalized models of medical care.

The department focuses on optimizing minimally invasive surgical procedures, improving anesthetic management, developing Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) technologies, studying metabolic responses, and advancing endovascular, laparoscopic, endoscopic, and laser surgery.
Current Research Project (2025–2029)
The project aims to develop personalized anesthetic protocols, improve interfascial block techniques, advance laser technologies, and optimize the treatment of vascular, orthopedic, otorhinolaryngological, and reproductive disorders.
Research Results (2022–2024)
The studies encompass vascular surgery, anesthesiology, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, neurosurgery, and endoscopy.
Key Achievements
- Published 111 scientific articles, including 69 indexed in Scopus, 4 in Web of Science, 26 in professional journals, 12 in international journals, 22 conference abstracts, and 160 conference presentations.
- Implemented 50 innovative developments.
- Published 3 monographs, obtained 3 patents, 22 certificates of intellectual property, and 14 sectoral innovations.
