The key feature of the Pediatric Consultation and Treatment Service is its multidisciplinary nature. The PCTS is unique in Ukraine, operating with a closed-cycle model for providing care to children—from the delivery room and primary outpatient care all the way to highly specialized inpatient treatment for children of all age groups (from the newborn period up to 18 years old).

The Pediatric Service operates as a single mechanism: we maintain close interaction and continuity of care between the primary care level and the hospital specialists.

The PCTS Outpatient Clinic includes a Pediatric Service, highly qualified narrow specialists, and nurses, supported by a powerful base for laboratory and instrumental diagnostics.

The main principle of pediatric dentists at the PCTS is minimal stress, safety, and minimal aggression for the child.

Sedation (medicinal sleep) and general anesthesia during dental treatment ensure these conditions but require high-tech equipment.

The dental office is fully equipped with the necessary anesthesiology equipment (anesthesia breathing machine, patient monitoring, centralized oxygen supply).

The presence of the PAIC Department within the PCTS structure guarantees patient safety during general anesthesia and allows us to provide care to children with severe concomitant pathologies (CNS damage, etc.).

Most existing pediatric dental facilities do not have these capabilities.

To increase the accessibility and timeliness of dental care, the PCTS operates two dental offices, one of which is equipped with a portable X-ray unit for real-time diagnostics during treatment.

Modern high-tech diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases in children:

  •  Video endoscopic examination of the nasal cavity, ear, nasopharynx, and larynx.
  • Tonal audiometry, suprathreshold speech audiometry, impedancemetry, etc.

The office is equipped with all necessary equipment, including an Optical Coherence Tomograph (OCT), which allows for early diagnosis of complex ophthalmic conditions, provides qualitative and quantitative screening of pathological changes in ocular structures, and helps determine further tactics and timely treatment with the possibility of dynamic follow-up.
