Patient Hospitalization Procedures for SIS “CIHT” SAD Inpatient Units
Emergency hospitalization is carried out 24/7 by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) doctors and other structural units of the Center.
Indications for Emergency Hospitalization:
- Acute diseases, conditions, or exacerbations of chronic diseases requiring 24/7 intensive treatment and care, or 24/7 specialized medical assistance for certain categories of patients.
- Acute diseases and conditions requiring the urgent use of high-tech diagnostic and treatment methods that cannot be provided in outpatient settings.
Planned Hospitalization
Planned hospitalization is carried out upon referral from a Therapist, Cardiologist, Endocrinologist, Neuropathologist, or related specialists.
Required Documents for Planned Hospitalization:
- Identity document.
- Referral for hospitalization of the established form.
- Medical documents confirming the results of studies, examinations, and previous treatment performed in other healthcare facilities.
Indications for Planned Hospitalization:
- Exacerbation of chronic diseases requiring 24/7 treatment and observation.
- Lack of effect from outpatient treatment.
- Complexity of diagnosis or the need for specialized high-tech diagnostic and treatment methods that cannot be performed on an outpatient basis.
- The need for medical rehabilitation when it cannot be carried out in an outpatient setting
Surgical Inpatient Department No. 1 (SCC)
Surgical Inpatient Department No. 1 primarily provides planned surgical medical care in various areas: General Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Andrology, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Otorhinolaryngology, Proctology, Interventional Cardiology, and Cardiac Surgery.
Planned Hospitalization
- Planned hospitalization is carried out only after consultation with the profile specialists of Surgical Inpatient Department No. 1 and/or researchers from the scientific department of minimally invasive surgery.
- Consultation appointments are made through the Surgical Inpatient Department No. 1 registry in person or by phone: (044) 254-64-28.
- Pre-operative examination is conducted on an outpatient basis with a mandatory examination by an Anesthesiologist.
- Patients are hospitalized on the day of the operation and are placed in comfortable single or double rooms where they receive 24/7 monitoring by medical staff.
Required Items for Planned Hospitalization:
- Passport.
- Results of laboratory and instrumental studies assigned by the doctor.
- Change of clothing and footwear.
- Personal hygiene items.
Urgent Surgical Care
Hospitalization for urgent surgical care is carried out by the SIS “CIHT” SAD EMS team or upon the patient’s personal request.

Maternity Ward (Center for Maternal and Child Health)
Pregnant women are subject to hospitalization for assistance during childbirth or the need for 24/7 observation of pregnancy at more than 32 weeks of gestation, on a planned and urgent basis.
Planned Hospitalization
Planned hospitalization is carried out upon referral from the Pregnancy Observation Office doctor who monitored the woman’s pregnancy.
Urgent Hospitalization
Urgent hospitalization is carried out by both EMS teams and upon the pregnant woman’s self-referral.
Required Items for Hospitalization:
- Passport.
- Exchange Card of the Pregnant Woman.
- Change of clothing and footwear.
- Personal hygiene items for herself and the newborn.
In case of a self-referral from a pregnant woman in the labor stage or if there is a condition threatening the mother’s life, she is hospitalized immediately, including without any identity documents or the pregnant woman’s exchange card.

Pediatric Multidisciplinary Inpatient Department (Center for Maternal and Child Health)
Children with somatic and surgical pathology, aged 0 to 18 years, are subject to hospitalization 24/7.
Planned Hospitalization
Planned hospitalization is carried out upon referral from a Pediatrician of the Children’s Consultative and Treatment Service.
Urgent Hospitalization
Urgent hospitalization is carried out after a preliminary examination of the child by the on-duty Pediatric Multidisciplinary Inpatient Department doctor in the presence of the ambulance team doctor.

Hospitalization to the inpatient departments of Feofaniya Clinical Hospital is carried out exclusively after examination of the patient by a doctor from the SIS “CIHT” SAD Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Station team.
